Zaja the label was created by Lauren, a former visual merchandiser and stylist - but most importantly mum of a tiny girl gang, when her first daughter was just a newborn. Not being able to find out of the box childrenswear for her own daughter, and craving a creative outlet - she brought Zaja to the children's fashion space with an effortless and uninfluenced aesthetic. This Australian owned and designed label pays homage to the everyday essentials that are easy to just 'throw on' but do not compromise on quality or design. We are a childrens wear label, but not as you know it.

Here at Zaja we are always trying our best to reduce our footprint on our planet. To do this, we use eco mailers - recyclable swing tags - compostable/recyclable packaging - and create minimal pieces/runs of styles to help with fashion waste and consumption. We aren't perfect, but we're giving it a shot.
